Panattoni has completed a new build-to-own development for DHL Parcel. The new owner will be making use of a cross-docking centre with an area of almost 9,000 sqm, which the company acquired late last year. The development in Kostrzyn is yet another built-to-suit centre constructed by Panattoni for the DHL group and yet another in the Wielkopolska region
Poland's largest logistics operator, Rohlig Suus Logistics, has opened a new warehouse in the capital of the West Pomeranian region. With this investment, the company now has 13,000 sqm of operational space in the region. In the region, Suus is betting on automation, including running processes based on modern elevator racks.
Cushman & Wakefield has been appointed by BIK S.A. to manage a property portfolio comprising four logistics parks. BIK S.A. is a Polish logistics developer owned by investment fund NREP NSF IV and supervised by Logicenters – the logistics platform of NREP. Cushman & Wakefield will provide integrated asset management solutions including financial and accounting services and ESG strategy execution advisory for Logistics Centre Kraków I, Logistics Centre Kraków II, BIK Park Sosnowiec II and BIK Park Wrocław I, with a combined leasable area of around 80,000 sqm.
Titanx Engine Cooling, a supplier of cooling systems for commercial vehicle manufacturers, is ramping up its production and distribution capacity at CTPark Opole in the Silesian region of southwest Poland by leasing an additional 27,000 sqm of space. The new capacity will help meet strong demand from customers in its key German, Polish and Czech markets.
Polish warehouse developer 7R has appointed Michał Białas as a Member of the Management Board. Michał Białas will continue to develop the company, expand the real estate portfolio, and support leasing.
Panattoni has sold its strategic Wroclaw Campus project in southwest Poland to P3 Logistic Parks. The project totals 185,000 sqm. The price has not been disclosed.
Panattoni has received an "Outstanding" rating under the BREEAM International New Construction system for Panattoni Park Szczecin III (halls A and B). This is the first such high level of certification in the industrial real estate market in Poland for a newly built investment. Its implementation was preceded by detailed life-cycle cost (LCC) and life-cycle analysis (LCA) of the facility for a period of 60 years. During construction, energy and water consumption were carefully monitored, harmful CO2 emissions were minimized, and thermal imaging was performed upon completion. The halls have been adapted to climate change and a possible change of use in the future. The project is located just 500 meters from public transportation and is accessible to people with disabilities.
Panattoni is developing its portfolio in the vicinity of Warsaw. The developer has completed the development of almost 40,000 sqm as part of its City Logistics Warsaw IV project in Annopol. Half of the space is to be taken up in July this year by TRUMPF Huettinger. The production plant is to serve markets that include the US, Japan, Korea and China.
