For many years we have been observing a decline in the number of available land properties, especially in the precincts of large metropolitan areas. Cities are growing, over time leaving a lot of wasteland inside their fabric. Former factories, forgotten and overgrown fuel depots, declining or non-functioning industrial plants are just some of the places that are even asking to be given a second life. Undoubtedly, building on such a property involves more effort on the part of the investor and officials than building on a green, history-free parcel of land. However, it is an effort that can repay with an excellent location, often without overstretching the Investor's budget.
