Brześć Kujawski, Poland – Kabar, a leader in building technologies, has begun the installation of advanced systems for SIKA Poland's new production and warehouse complex in Brześć Kujawski. The project, commissioned by general contractor Harden Construction, involves the implementation of innovative sanitary, electrical, and renewable energy solutions, significantly increasing the factory's energy independence.

SIKA's New Factory – A Key Element of the Central and Eastern European Expansion Strategy

SIKA Poland, a global leader in construction chemistry, is carrying out one of the largest investments in Poland – a modern factory and warehouse complex covering 11,000 m², located in the Pomeranian Special Economic Zone. This investment will not only increase the availability of SIKA products in the Central European region but will also strengthen the local economy and create new jobs.

– The new factory is a key element of our long-term strategy in Central and Eastern Europe. Choosing a professional technology partner like Kabar allows us to implement innovative solutions that will bring real savings – says Wojciech Ziemliński, CEO of Sika Poland.

Kabar's Technological Innovations for SIKA Poland

Kabar is responsible for the comprehensive execution of electrical and sanitary installations, as well as the implementation of the energy management system. As part of the project, a remote energy meter reading system will be created, enabling the optimization of power consumption and reducing operational costs for the factory.

– Our technological solutions will enable SIKA to achieve maximum energy efficiency from day one of the plant's operation. Optimizing energy management is the foundation of building market advantage today – says Artur Hiszpański, CEO of Kabar Group.

Photovoltaic Investment – Increasing Energy Independence

A 750 kWp photovoltaic system has been installed on the roof of the newly built SIKA factory. The system utilizes high-efficiency, fire-resistant IBC glass-glass PV modules, which will significantly reduce energy consumption from the grid and lower CO₂ emissions by 267 tons annually.

– Integrating a large photovoltaic farm with the energy management system is a key component of the investment, increasing the plant's energy independence and allowing better control over energy costs – explains Piotr Miodek, Vice President of Kabar Group.
