A strategic logistics investment at the heart of the country
Driven by the rapid growth of its online sales and nationwide retail network, Media Expert is strengthening its supply chain with another large-scale development in Łódź.
“We keep expanding our distribution centres in Łódź – this central location allows us to serve customers across Poland quickly and efficiently. The fast-growing volume of orders and the broadening of our product range require new logistics solutions. This investment is another milestone in executing our omnichannel strategy and reinforcing our position as a leader in modern retail,” said Michał Mystkowski, spokesperson for Media Expert.
The new facility will support the comprehensive distribution of consumer electronics, home appliances, and bicycles, while also enabling the company’s expansion into new categories such as gardening and fitness.
A long-term partnership that’s scaling fast
Panattoni and Media Expert have a strong history of collaboration. The developer has already delivered over 300,000 sqm of industrial space for the brand in Central Poland. With this latest project, the total space developed for Media Expert will exceed 500,000 sqm within the next two years.
“Media Expert has been one of our key partners for many years. This new investment reflects the great trust the company’s leadership places in us and validates our custom approach to industrial development. Łódź remains one of Poland’s top logistics hubs, and this project further strengthens our presence in the region,” said Marek Dobrzycki, Partner at Panattoni.
Operational synergy and greater efficiency
The new centre will be located near Media Expert’s existing distribution facilities within the Central European Logistics Hub in Łódź. This strategic proximity will improve operational synergy, shorten delivery times, and boost customer satisfaction.
“The close distance and excellent road access between our facilities in Łódź significantly speed up order processing and enhance the overall customer experience. Strong logistics performance is key to building loyalty – that’s why synergy across locations is so important to us,” added Michał Mystkowski.
Location and timeline
The investment will be developed on a 53-hectare plot near the Ryptułowice junction (road no. 14, Pabianice bypass), just 3 km from the S14 expressway – the western bypass of Łódź connecting the A2 motorway and the S8 expressway. The project will include 203,904 sqm of warehouse space and 3,656 sqm of office space. Construction is scheduled to begin in the third quarter of 2025.
