The two companies began their cooperation in 2022, when TVM Transport & Logistics leased 2,500 sqm of warehouse space at SEGRO Park Tychy, Strefowa. The positive experience prompted the company to expand its cooperation with SEGRO and lease the Wroclaw location.

Custom warehouse space

The new warehouse space with a total area of 1,600 sqm is distinguished by its non-standard configuration. Access to as many as twelve ramps and one zero-gate will make it easier for the customer to perform a large number of loading and unloading operations. The warehouse in Wroclaw will be TVM's eighth transshipment point on the European map and will be used to handle both vans and trucks.

SEGRO, as the owner and manager of the building, ensures the continuity of processes through ongoing control and attention to technical aspects. A well-organized office and social area guarantees high work comfort. Round-the-clock security, an access control system and innovative solutions such as automatic license plate reading take care of safety. Fire safeguards meet TVM safety standards and ensure adequate protection of entrusted goods.

Adam Bilka, Vice President of TVM Transport & Logistics comments:

"The development of transshipment infrastructure is one of the key elements of our company's business strategy. The location of the new warehouse is extremely important to us, as we handle many transport orders in the Wroclaw area on a daily basis. The new point will develop a network of fixed transport line connections, which will translate into improved cargo flow and increase the quality of our services. In addition, it will shorten transport time (Transit Time) to our southern and western neighbors and increase the flexibility of our offerings. The location of the warehouse near the capital of the Czech Republic, which is an important area for us in terms of the number of transport orders executed, is an additional advantage. It should also be noted that Lower Silesia is saturated with investments by German companies, which generates significant demand for transport services in the western direction."

Both TVM and SEGRO are committed to sustainability. The building uses solutions in line with SEGRO's Responsible SEGRO program to support low-emission transportation. TVM Transport & Logistics uses LED lighting and has access to electric vehicle charging stations. The two companies' consistent strategy of concern for the environment is building a long-term partnership
