Panattoni has already delivered some 4 million sq. m. of custom BTS space across Poland, accounting for almost 30% of the total volume completed in the country. Now the developer is building a manufacturing and development facility in the Świdnik Economic Activity Zone for Trilux, the construction of which will be financed by an Alior Bank loan. The center is expected to be commissioned in June this year.
"Trilux has entrusted us with the construction of an extremely important project - its newest factory, which will also be its first in the Central and Eastern European region. It will be of strategic importance for the company's international expansion. It will not only increase the company's production capacity, but also improve its logistics and the way it develops new products, which should ultimately lead to the center becoming a key hub for this part of the continent. Our job is to provide a center ideally suited to this role, and in this case in an extremely short timeframe. Panattoni specializes in creating tailor-made manufacturing facilities, a fact that has also been recognized by financial institutions. We would like to thank Alior Bank for granting us financing for a project that will stimulate the development of the entire region, as the new factory will provide jobs for about 250 people," - says Karina Trojańska, Chief Financing & Operating Officer at Panattoni.
The Świdnik factory will cover 23,000 sqm and will fit into Trilux's sustainable growth strategy. By reducing transport links with European customers, the company will be able to reduce its carbon footprint, and Panattoni is expected to ensure that the center meets sustainable building standards. The building is expected to pass BREEAM certification at the Excellent level.
The Trilux Group has six manufacturing plants in Europe and Asia, and has been present in Poland since 2004. The company offers intelligent B2B lighting solutions for office buildings, industrial complexes, commercial facilities and educational and healthcare centers. It also offers lighting effects used in architecture both indoors and outdoors.
