Panattoni Europe expands scope in Cuiavia-Pomerania with the construction of Panattoni Park Toruń II. The modern distribution centre featuring in excess of 62,500 sqm will be located only 10 km from the city centre, next to the Lubicz interchange, connecting the A1 with DK10. As a result, Panattoni Park Toruń II will become a crucially important logistics landmark in Cuiavia and Pomerania. The construction works will be launched this July, with completion planned for the fourth quarter of this year.

Panattoni Park Toruń II is not the first Panattoni project in the Cuiavia-Pomerania region – to date, projects delivered here by the developer include the proprietary Panattoni Park Toruń I, two BTS facilities (for the Carrefour and Kaufland chains), as well as the proprietary complex of Panattoni Park Bydgoszcz with 49,500 sqm. The decision to build the centre in Toruń was commented on by Dorota Jagodzińska, Managind Director Panattoni Europe: “Toruń is one of those locations which are underestimated by the warehousing sector, even though the city itself lies at the intersection of the A1 motorway and the S10 expressway, and has a population of some 200,000 inhabitants, with more than 130,000 at working age. That is why we have decided to make the most of the region’s strengths using our local expertise”. It is worth adding that Toruń is one of the fastest-growing cities in Poland – it came fourth in the most recent Forbes ranking of Best Places for Business, and also found itself among the top five “Polish Cities of the Future 2019/2020” among mid-sized cities for “human capital and lifestyle”.

Panattoni Park Toruń II will comprise two class A warehouse buildings totalling 62,560 sqm. The units inside can be arranged flexibly, so the space in the park can be easily adapted to the needs of tenants representing various industries, including the manufacturing sector. The site lies in the direct vicinity of the national road no 80, just 2 km from the Lubicz interchange, which connects to the A1 motorway and S10 expressway leading to Warsaw. The distance to the Toruń city centre is just 10 km, to Bydgoszcz – 53 km, and to Gdańsk – 161 km.
